a.   You are older than 25 years old when you are pregnant
b.   Have your baby weighed more than 9 pounds after giving a birth

e.   You were overweight or had obesity issue before getting pregnant
f.    Too much amniotic fluid inside your body
g.   Had miscarriage

a.   Fatigue, which results to get tired easily and you should have lots of bed rest

a.   Just eat normally and have balanced diet

b.   Know your restriction

In this term, know your restriction before the gestational diabetes preparation test. Some doctors might ask you to fast for 12 hours before the test begin. Some doctors do not ask it.

c.   List of your medicines

Make a list of medicines you are taking right now and during the test and let your doctor know whether or not they will be too risky to take before and during the test.

After being diagnosed, the result will be only two. If you suffer gestational diabetes, you can check your condition regularly by checking the glucose at home by putting a drop of blood in a machine that is able to read the level of sugar.
